GivingTuesday 2022 – November 29th – A Worldwide Celebration of Generosity!

GivingTuesday is a movement that unleashes the power of radical generosity around the world. The 10th Annual GivingTuesday takes place on November 29th for a Worldwide Celebration of Generosity.

GivingTuesday was created in 2012 as a simple idea: a day that encourages people to do good. Over the past ten years, this idea has grown into a global movement that inspires hundreds of millions of people to give, collaborate, and celebrate generosity year-round.

GivingTuesday is driving a net increase in giving. The movement continues to grow in year-over-year donation volume, reach and impact – driving increased donations and behavior change. In 2021, an estimated $2.7 Billion were donated in twenty-four hours in the U.S. alone, a 9% increase over the prior year and a 37% increase from pre-pandemic levels. On November 30, 2021, 35 million adults participating by offering gifts of time, voice, skills, goods, and money, as well as countless acts of kindness inspired by the movement.

What an amazing evening and celebration! Words can’t express the gratitude and appreciation for all the love and support we received from everyone who attended our 2022 Fundraiser and Fall Gala Celebration.

International Overdose Awareness Day is a global event held every year on August 31st with the goal to raise awareness of overdose and reduce the stigma of a drug-related death. It is also a day to memorialize all of those who have died as a result of a drug overdose, offer sympathies to our dear friends and family members who have lost their loved ones, and to acknowledge those in recovery.

Fall can be a busy time of the year for everyone. If unfortunately, you are unable to attend our 2022 Fundraiser and Fall Gala Celebration, or you don’t live in the area, there are still ways to Help and Support our Mission.

Stages of Transformation will be hosting a Health & Wellness beginner Yoga session at Hickory Hall on Monday, August 15th at 5:30 p.m.

We are excited to share with everyone that Home State Bank has named Stages of Transformation “Business of the Week” on Star 105.5. Stages will be featured the week of August 1st on the Star morning show between 6:00 a.m. – 10:00 a.m.
